Graphics FAQ
Partial wrap questions.
Still curious? Autonomy answers personally.
What is a partial vehicle wrap?
A partial wrap covers part of the vehicle, such as the rear half, the sides or the hood, and blends into the existing paint color. Designed well, it looks intentional and bold, and it costs noticeably less than a full wrap because it uses less film and less install time.
Can you add USDOT numbers to my truck?
Yes. DOT and USDOT numbers, company names and other required markings can be cut from durable vinyl in a contrasting color and sized to be legible. Federal marking rules for interstate commercial vehicles are in 49 CFR 390.21. Confirm what your vehicle needs, and Autonomy will letter it to spec.
Can I start with lettering and upgrade later?
Yes, and it is a smart way to build a brand on a budget. Start with logo and contact lettering designed as part of a bigger layout. Later, the same design grows into a partial or full wrap without starting over, so earlier spending is not wasted.
